Right, so...
[For those who knew her, Samantha wasn't usually the nervous sort. She was usually acrid, cynical, bitter, a little churlish and a know-it-all. Well, right now, she was nervous and fidgety. There were a pack of dwarves, eyes watery and hip deep in their ale, laughing as they bandied stories far too loudly. Most of them were very dramatic tales about the travelers, with appropriate and sometimes inappropriate embellishments. She was seated, hand on something that looked amber and about half-way to drunk when she turned her bracelet on and looked at it.]
I've got a little problem. See, it's been centuries, an' ... well, I managed to get a few coins together, you know. Cleaning up frogs an puttin thos'bastards where they belong.
fuck off, ya wanker! [The sound came from an ugly looking orange troll in a little glass cage next her, annoyed as all get out. The Dwarves shouted and hooted when they heard it. Apparently they thought it was hilarious right now.]
Well, most of 'em anyway. But, five gold runes isn't enough for ... um... for something I really really want. But, the dwarves, you see. They still take payment in stories, good ones. Ones they haven't heard before. I've told 'em most of mine. But I've still got a couple stowed away. Anywho, could a couple of you guys help out? You know, for old time's sake? A gold rune's in it for the first few of you to show up. 'sides, good way to tell old stories, right?
